These materials are tools to assist your compliance efforts. They are not a substitute for the advice of a licensed attorney. You are solely responsible for reviewing all generated documents and ensuring that your promotional campaigns comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

What the Platform Does

Comprizant is a document automation and campaign management platform. Based on the campaign configuration you provide (promotion type, prize values, eligibility criteria, entry methods, schedule, and sponsor details), the platform:

Assembles official rules from templates and configurable sections
Generates AMOE (Alternative Method of Entry) disclosures
Calculates and displays odds of winning
Identifies states that may require registration or bonding based on prize values
Flags potential compliance issues based on general promotional marketing law
Provides fraud detection and identity resolution tools
Manages campaign lifecycle, winner selection, and fulfillment

What the Platform Does Not Do

Comprizant does not:

Provide legal advice. We do not review your inputs for legal sufficiency, draw legal conclusions, or provide legal opinions about your rights, remedies, or legal options.
Create an attorney-client relationship. No such relationship is formed by your use of the platform. Comprizant employees and contractors are not acting as your attorneys.
Guarantee legal compliance. Generated documents are based on general legal information and the data you provide. They may not address every legal requirement applicable to your specific promotion, jurisdiction, or industry.
File registrations or post bonds. While we identify filing requirements and provide preparation tools, the actual filing of registrations and procurement of surety bonds is your responsibility.
Monitor law changes in real time. Promotional marketing law varies across 50+ U.S. jurisdictions and changes regularly. The platform's knowledge base is updated periodically but may not reflect the most recent legal developments in every jurisdiction at all times.
Replace attorney review. No automated system can substitute for the judgment of a licensed attorney who understands your specific business, industry regulations, and jurisdiction.

Your Responsibilities

By using the Comprizant platform, you accept full responsibility for:

The accuracy and completeness of all information you provide to the platform, including prize values, eligibility rules, sponsor details, and campaign parameters
Reviewing every generated document before using it in a live campaign
Ensuring your promotions comply with all applicable federal, state, local, and international laws, including but not limited to: sweepstakes and contest laws, registration and bonding requirements, consumer protection statutes, data privacy regulations (CCPA, GDPR, COPPA), advertising standards, industry-specific rules (e.g., alcohol, tobacco, cannabis, firearms), and tax reporting obligations
Obtaining independent legal counsel before launching any promotion, particularly for high-value prizes, multi-state campaigns, or regulated industries
Making all regulatory filings, posting required bonds, and meeting all compliance deadlines
Providing appropriate privacy notices to campaign participants and obtaining any required consent for data collection

AI-Powered Features

Certain features of the platform, including compliance review and document quality checks, use artificial intelligence (AI) models. These AI features:

Are designed to assist, not replace, human review. AI output may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.
Do not constitute legal analysis. AI-generated compliance suggestions are informational flags, not legal opinions.
Should be treated as a starting point for review, not as a final determination of compliance.

Fraud Detection Disclaimer

The fraud detection and identity resolution features of the platform are designed to identify potentially fraudulent or abusive campaign entries. These features:

Use probabilistic methods (device fingerprinting, behavioral analysis, email verification) that may produce false positives or false negatives
Do not guarantee the detection of all fraudulent activity
Should not be the sole basis for taking adverse action against consumers without additional verification

Limitation of Liability

Comprizant shall not be held liable for any regulatory fines, penalties, enforcement actions, lawsuits, legal fees, or other costs or damages arising from your promotional campaigns, including but not limited to claims that generated documents were incomplete, inaccurate, or insufficient under applicable law. Have an attorney review your generated documents before going live.

Comprizant makes it fast and affordable to create compliant campaign materials. But no automated tool replaces professional legal judgment. A 30-minute attorney review of your official rules is the single best investment you can make before launching a promotion. This is especially important for campaigns with prizes over $5,000, campaigns running in multiple states, promotions in regulated industries (alcohol, cannabis, firearms, financial services), and campaigns targeting minors.
